With Microsoft's recent announcement that it would stop supporting all but the latest versions of each IE browser version per Operating System, which essentially means completely stopping support for IE8 (IE 9 is the latest for Vista and Server 2008 and IE10 for Server 2012), some of the market share numbers must be a little worrying for Microsoft. Edge has only increased marginally to just under 3%, while IE8 still has more than 10% market share. On the bright side for Microsoft IE11 market share has increased slightly, with Chrome continuing to gain overall as well.
